These days are ideally suited with little or no experience

The lessons will be friendly and fun - non competitive;

But the progress will be spectacular-gained from early

experiences as art lecturer on cruise ships in the eighties;

" On my first one in 1982 - I was a disaster for the first two days - but I knew they couldn't go anywhere for a fortnight -  I was eventually asked to do as many as I could"

Danny has taught thousands to paint since then -

with engagements at art societies-village halls - Art colleges,

Summer Schools and art conventions - converting non-painters to the joys of watercolour and drawing with his simplistic techniques and original approach..

These courses are a rare opportunity to improve all aspects of

Watercolour & drawing-and are best suited to those with some previous artistic experience.

Danny explores and explains and demonstrates all stages of  the process of; Composition / Drawing / Colour / Light /

Technique / identity / style / Representational /

Impressionism / Abstract / pen & wash /  which materials & more...gaining a better understanding of the philosophy and development of the senses in artistic relativity and creativity.

Danny has completed 8 years as main art tutor in watercolour for Marlborough College Summer School.

Bath University's Lifelong learning studies programme.

Many other Art establishments.

Yorkshire arts sponsored Danny to link with the South Yorkshire Community to do a winter watercolour day Dec 2002

Winsor Newton sponsored the art materials which attracted

140 participants on a Sunday - including the W.W. challenge

100 people -100 paintings in one hour - which was well achieved - with the teaching aid of the large cinema screen, and featured on Yorkshire Television.

A unique entertainment in the arts - from this multi-talented artist /artiste.

His programme includes dynamic watercolour demonstrations and sketches-which are interspersed with Danny's own

poetry / original songs and relative classic traditional

material - working self-contained - accompanying himself on acoustic guitars and piano. & presented in his own inimitable organic style - infectious enthusiasm and linked with

spontaneous eccentricities and stories.

Performance duration can be tailored to suit the situation - normally a two hour show - with interval between,

or one hour performance.

Venues with a large projection screen are preferable when performing to audiences of over 100 - i.e.  Arts Centres,

Cinemas - etc. Rural touring on the Village hall circuit is also

undertaken i.e. 'Hog the Limelight' Hampshire

TV Showreel & 'Live at the Lamproom' Video available

Was an initiative developed by Danny in conjunction with the Knaresborough Arts Festival and Pro-musica orchestra - 1999

When Danny completed 4 large impressionistic

watercolours - depicting the seasons and feel of the music and mood to an enthralled audience of 800 -

And just for good measure read Vivaldi's sonnets to set the feel - prior to the painting of each canvas.

Dynamic lighting added to what was a memorable evening of around one hour duration.

For a more intimate setting.

Working with a classical pianist - Danny created an arts

Programme -for an evening in the Gainsborough room at Marlborough College 2001 -which involved art

interpretations of the 'Moonlight Sonata' -

'Reflections on the Water'And the Jupiter Planet suite -

linked with relative poetry - Another innovative first -

well received by the 100 audience

Duration was around one hour.
